All three have 'ignition misfire' codes, two of. Ive changed plugs and coild pack. any ideas? ive sprayed some wd40 in a couple of sensors. butthis didnt help!

Odd that its on 3 cylinders, only when it first starts up!. Its a 52 plate vtr

just had a thought. could this be any way due to cracked manifold?

Inlet manifold most probably yes as if its not supplying the fuel that the ecu believes it to have injected then the mixture wont be correct causing a misfire.

Nope, crack in the outlet manifold sorry! Just before the first lamba sensor.

Have you tried the Injection Relay under the ECU ? Mine was doing this and i replaced and Woop Woop

i shall have to look into that :D. bought a new cat, manifold and filters for a service. Once i bang them on if its still doing it il look into anything you guys suggest.

This has been a problem for a while but just havent had the chance to bother with it! Im looking at a fabia vrs so will be selling, just dont have the heart to sell with such problems!

cant imagine a cat having any effect on this

no not the cat but the manifold. Ive been told the crack is the cause ofthe dead cat. due to lamba sensor constantly changing variables. therefore that links in with a missfire?

Replaced the manifold and it fixed it, until today! misfired again and this time was in the middle of the day, on start up was around 8 degrees, whereas its been starting up fine on morning where the widscreen is frozen over. Perhaps not temperature related)

Looking into the relay, is it this one (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PEUGEOT-CITROEN-5-PIN-YELLOW-25A-FAN-INJECTION-RELAY-/320617946411?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4aa6519d2b#ht_1370wt_905)? Any other ideas anyone?

In addition to this, my injectors are 'tickinging' i got some given from a scrap yard and was going to send them off to here (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ULTRASONIC-FUEL-INJECTOR-CLEANING-SERVICE-CLEANER_W0QQitemZ380072659398QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK _CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item587e1889c 6#ht_5411wt_905) (origionaly i was going to use demon tuning as they are half the price however they dont seem to rate them too well!). But thinking about it, this wouldnt realy solve my problem as i have a misfire on 3 cylinders, seems unlikely that 3 injectors would fail at the same time.
