Hi quick question and possibly a stupid one. How do the TRS towstraps go on the front of the saxo's?

I think I understand how they go on the back? are they included with a bolt to put in only the pics don't add up ?

Many thanks
Ryan

i don't think they come with a bolt i think you have to buy one and just put in through the eye of the strap :y:

Unless you actually plan on using it, you need a hench bolt. Can't remember the tensile strength of it.. 12.9 M12 or something gay like that.

You can just use any bolt and tap a thread into your Slam panel bit or whatever, behind the bumper

Can you explain to me what a 'hench bolt' is.

I would seriously not recomend tapping a thread in the slam panel or lower cross member... the material is far too thin.

Weld a boss onto the thick peice of material between the chasis legs and the lower cross memember. or drill a hole and bolt right through with a nut and washer on the back. Atleast M12 diameter, M14 would be my personal preference.

i was hoping this would be a easy mod but reading some of this seems quite a bit of effort considering my one will only be for looks not to actually be used but thanks for the info :)
