I'm putting a MK1 VTS front end onto my MK2 VTS....

What bits do I need?

I already have....

Slam panel
Bonnet
Both wings
Headlights
Indercaters
Grill

Is there any thing else I missed?

Thanks :y:

Just so you know, the Slam panel wont fully bolt on as the Mark 1 chassis has an extra bit of metal spot welded on to the edge. This was removed on the mark 2's due to the larger headlights. It might secure fine without it other you might need to get some welded on to the chassis.

Right, The mark ones have this extra bit for the slam panel to bolt on to, as seen here.

The Mark 2 have this bit removed and the slam panel bolts into the hole behind it. I know because i did a Mark 1 to Mark 2 conversion and had to cut it off.

However it is only spot welded on so I you could probs just go to a scrap yard and drill them off a mark 1 and get them welded on to it.

Thankyou so much for taking the time too do this dude :y: really appreciated buddy!
So if I just go to a scrap yard to get these two bit that are on the what's it called?lol will it maybe fit with out this?

Thanks

I dunno what they are called just mounts for the slam panel. It would fit but it wont be very secure as they are the only bolts at the top of it. Basically the top of the MK1 slam panel goes into the first hole on the metal bit where as the MK 2 goes into the ones further up.

Thinking about it you maybe could just get a strip of sturdy metal and bridge the gap between them.
