I want to add an extra water temp gauge, the gauge has come with a two wire sensor. can I just tap into the wires for the existing sensor ?

or will i need to put this new sensor in somewhere ???

I know the vts has apparentley got 2 sensors 1 green 1 blue

which one is for the dials ?

when my mate (auto leccy) fitted my temp gauge this way... the car would not idle at all... it sounded like it was running on 2 cylinders...something to do with the resistance from what the sensor tells the gauge etc (havnt got a clue what my mate was going on about lol)

best way is to get an adaptor to fit the new sensor into the original position of the BLUE sensor then wire up accordingly :y:

ive got an extra water temp gauge in my car, it come with an extra sensor at first i tried wiring it into the sensor already on the car but the gauge was all over the place, so i contacted the people who got it from and they said that the sensor in the pack would only work with that gauge only, soon as i put the other sensor in is all good i just removed the one that runs the one on the orignal dash.
had to buy an adaptor for mine though from demon tweeeks as it was too small for the hole on the block lol :y:
