Went into my car today, tried to put the blower on to demist the windscreen and nothing happened, no noise no nothing coming from the fans

Same with the heated rear windscreen, you push the button yet nothing happens!

Checked all the relevant fuses and thers nout wrong that i can see

Any other suggestions as to what it could be? As im sick of freezing my ass off going anywhere at the minute! :p

Got a multimeter? You can unplug the blower motor by reaching up in to the driver's footwell. That will tell you if you have power at the motor. If you do - it's new blower motor time, if you don't AND the fuse is intact then you have a wiring issue.

Are you 100% the fuse hasn't blown? Did you check the right fuse?

I ended up giving mine its own seperate live and fuse as it was on the same fuse as the power steering and it kept blowing, untill i changed the resistors ,which i installed on the inner wing as its hard to get the blower out. good luck

Bump. Anyway just in case you still don't know what to do with your blower motor resistor (http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/blower_motor_resistor~pop.html), I used a multimeter, unplugged the blower motor, and checked if there is enough power at the motor by reaching up to the driver's footwell.
