2003 saxo vtr

Ok going to look @ a saxo on sunday its a 2003 vtr with 48,xxx on the clock so low miles looks the part, 1 years mot and 6 month tax... All paperwork including service's and mots etc all for £1200 but read on....

Car was CAT D back in 2003/4 which it got repaired it got smacked up the rear end :D

The guy said only problem is that sometimes you think your low on fuel and you have to turn off the car and turn back on and its fine.... He seems to think its something to do with that knock it had back in 2003/4.

So if i was to get the car on sunday if all is well, how could i cure it? Is it like a sensor or something?

could be the petrol level sender, hope your not paying too much as it is a cat D

Cat D isnt that bad - and i would say its worth the money @ £1200.

If it is the petrol level sender is it a quick and easy fix?

Thanks for that mate, they seem to say that its been repaired to a very high standard. Any thing that is putting me off is the fuel level problem... Is that a easy fix?
