As some of you know, I've got a very damn persistent knocking with my Saxo. Usually it'd be straight down to Mandyslover and sorted but due to him being unavailable, my work hours and short amount of time I decided to try a different garage.

Garage number one: Due to it having alot of work previously didn't want to touch it.

Garage number two: Good guys, gave some good advice, advised of somewhere to go as they were just a tyre and exhaust place

Garage three: Fobbed us off with "Too much work, it'll be days before we can even look at it"

Garage four: I quote the guys exact words "Not interested, see you" !!!

Garage five were actually good enough to do a free road test to diagnose the problem. Only problem is that they've not rang me back, closed and kept my car overnight when I need it tonight. Working hours means I'm stuck until Monday now.

Overall not impressed at all!

That's pretty shit. Did you not tell them you needed your car back tonight?

Yeh. That's the main reason we went to five different garages, to find one where I could get it done or at least back to me with a diagnosis today.

You been round there to see if anyone's about still?

I'd be pretty fuming tbh if I'd been left without a car all weekend.

Too far away and rush hour traffic PLUS the fact I have no car lmao

hate going to garages, i avoid them at all costs! only go for MOTs.

wanted my radius arms changing on my old punto, no-one would touch it saying it would take a while blah blah blah. so me and a friend ended up doing it one sunday within 2 hours, never done one before, and it passed the MOT.

they come out with some right bullshit.

I'm on 12 hour shifts for the next few days mate. The garage have still got it at the minute (Although its not parked where it should be I'm told) so i'll let you know what happens mate. Cheers
