engine cleaning

hi all
i use to be on this site about 3years ago when i had my old saxo vtr got rid but now got another one :) so am back, i got my vtr saturday but the engine bay is pretty dirty,just woundering what you use to clean engine and bay?

bag all the wiring up with plastic and tape (battery,ecu -ect) and give a good covering with gunk degreaser leave for 10 mins and give a good scrub with a stiff nylon brush then rinse with a low pressure hose.

then to finish off i use some chemical guys Orange Degreaser and do the same again then for all plastics give them a dry and use a good dressing such as chemical guys wet look trim gel and so on.

there is a guide on here on how to do it properly somewhere.
