Very discreet now, only shows a a little bold number 1 unread at the top right in small writing. Thus i am not reading them for ages because it doesnt stand out as there being a new message?

Needs to be brighter and bolder so when you recieve amessage you know about it without suddenly realising when it says 1 unread...... 2 days later!!!!

Duno if anyone agrees with that but its the only issue ive seen so farr!

agreed, before it used to turn red and flash so you noticed it but now its way too small and blended in with the rest of the txt that it doesnt come to your attention as quickly as it should.

i was gonna say on another forum i know with same forum software a new box pops up telling you!! il have a fiddle now!

So for those of you who are still unsure as to how to enable a pop window upon receiving a PM, follow these steps...

Quick Links => Edit Profile => Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up

only when your online though....if your not online it doesn't seem to pop up and hit you in the face

I thought a pop up window does appear when you log on and have unread private messages. Well, it does on IPB. It should on vB.
