uploading pics to album from iphone

i could do it off my old phone but these bloody iphones are too technical for wee me!!

Do you mean putting them from your iPhone to the laptop?

I just plug my iPhone into the laptop and it pops up with a thing saying Autoplay, then i click Import pictures and it does it

I aint got a clue about to facebook then but surely you can just copy them to the laptop and then go from laptop to facebook? Or go on iTunes app store and you can download pic uploaders for facebook

my old phone id upload them the same way id do on a computer.

but when i go to 'choose file' the button is dark and wont let me select it....

might not be able to straight from the phone, iirc its down to the way/format the pics are stored on the phone.

yeh i couldnt save a pic to the PC id emailed myself earlier...

im within my 2 weeks im actually quite tempted to take my old phone back with its 12.1 mp camera and uploading pics straight to websites :(

where do you get that figure from your phone network supplier (which one is it ?) or the phone itself ?

If its from the phone itself then its probably correct, as it will take into any type of data access you use, 3g, wifi, edge etc.

Ah i see, no i meant on the iphone, i think it keeps a log of how much data you use (including wifi, 3g etc, or atleast i think i have seen this on my phone somewhere).

If vodaphone have text you, then you must have been using 3g, edge, gprs etc. If you turn of mobile data that will work, i done this when i went abroad. This way you can still connect to wifi, but it wont let you use data from your sim.

EDIT: What have you been doing btw, you have done well to get through 1gb using data from vodaphone, (even if it was 3g which isnt TOO slow).

edit again: If you wanna turn data off and dont know how:-
1, settings.
2, general.
3, network.
4, switch "cellular data" from on to off.

i phoned up vodafone and they said im not as near as they made out, error.

andother problem arose and im getting sick of them!

but iv still went thorugh a LOT of useage!

yeah should be able too, hopefully its the same as my 3gs, go into settings, general, then usage , go down a bit and you should see Mobile network data sent & received.

if you know when your billing date is , if you go further down that page you can reset your stats when you start a new month too keep track of your usage.

just out of interest on that page do you have anything showing under "tether data" ?

well thats a fair bit down on the 1gb they reckon you used.

did they clarify how much of an "error" there was when they figured out you hadnt actually used 1gb ?

what sort of things do you use the phone for ?

they gave me some pish about getting not my full allowance this month cause they added the 500mb on to make 1gb mid month...

but that was their error so i dont see how i should have to cap my useage?

aye from the sounds of it they falsly upped your limit, which i thought they should notify you about anyway, so there was no need to add the extra.

seems to me like their trying to pull a fast one, ask them what your current usage is, what limit they've set you, and confirm the date they reset your usage stats.
