Got 5 laps in the r8, 5 laps in a cayman and 5 in single seater.

Not bad for £50 quid ;)

Exactly, he didn't want me taking it above 5k revs because "it's got enough torque lower down" they dont want this so badly they even cover the rev counter in tape so you can only see upto 5k

After one lap I booted it in fourth down the back straight and he starts yapping 5th 5th lol

But it sounded so good!

Thruxton quadruple the value of clubcard vouchers.

I had £50 of vouchers which gave me £200 and I put in the £50 extra to get the £250 r8 plus experience

This is the second one I have been on. The instructor in the cayman was James Callado came second last year in British formula 3

Yeah you can drive the atom. Was only 30quid a lap as well which was pretty reasonable.

If I was paying my money I'd expect to take it to the red line in every gear. The new V10 is a really rev happy engine.

I havent done one since 2004 now, need to get another booked, I loved that.

Yeh i did it using Tesco Clubcard vouchers

I have done one before and i only go because of the vouchers.

Like you said the moaning is one thing but the cost is too much!

Exactly my feelings, the problem with giving it guns (which i did in all three cars) is that its over quite soon. If id of paid for it all then i would be disapointed

Yes it was even with little revs, but once you got up to 5k my god it felt like hell had opened up.

constant acceleration on and on, and the noise! thinking about it still makes me wet.
