Fake Ferrari . Why bother ???

Was just sat at a set of lights in town yesterday, when I heard this god awful revving noise. It sounded like a powerflow exhaust that was blowing it's cunt off & then it appeared in all it's glory .... A fake Ferrari 430 , complete with a £250 private number plate .

It looked more like a Bigfoot monster truck due to the height of the suspension. I thought the cunt was gonna start doing wheelies & driving over cars.

To add insut to the whole thing it even had fake marranello Ferrari dealership number plates. People spend fucking fortunes to create the hideous , why not just save the money & buy a real one ?

Who are they trying to fool ?

Cobra reps & gt40 reps can look stunning as they are built on a custom recreation chassis that's same size as the original , but mr2 or cavalier based Ferrari reps are a joke.

These cheap copies are truly terrible and yet seem to cost a fortune. Poor quality and generally look poor. For the money you could get a really nice Lotus, TVR, Marcos, Evo or some other quick car. There are a few reproductions about f old Ferraris that are just that as close to the real thing as posible. They are nice but your talking 6 digit price tags for them.

There's a nice 355 Rep in my uncle's Estate in Rugley.
Once my uncle pissed him off though, he was washing it and my uncle drove passed saying that car's about as Italian as he is lol.

The 355 reps are pretty spot on the two things that let them down is the wheels never seem to sit right and the bootlids are too small.

There was a MR2 rep Ferrari used to park outside where I used to work when I lived in The Midlands, the owner had spent over £30,000 getting it to look like it did. It was a good looking replica although you could still tell it was a fake, certain parts just didn't look quite right. But the noise it made gave it away completely. I can't understand why anyone would spend that sort of money on a fake car, but each to their own I suppose.

back end is longer, wing mirrors are fatter and not as long, tyres to big, brake pots small, front wings not as long, scoop on side skirt to flat and smaller, wiper blades sit in wrong position, rear quater window is slightly wider, a pillar is to thin, front lights are longer.

another thing to look at is the doors look at teh A pillar look at the door seams look how they both join up from car to car ;)
