So when i get a question like this, or something similar, what would you guys put to make sure you stand a good chance of getting an interview.

I have chosen to apply for your company because i understand it offers a quality and professional service and i believe my input to the company would be more than sufficient to maintain the high standards they currently provide to the general public.

I have specifically picked out x due to the x services it offers, I believe x is a leading x in the current market and as a result the competition this market faces will benefit my career which is very welcomed.

possibly 'I have a keen interest in cars and enjoy maintaining my own vehicle, as well furthering my knowledge of how it works' (substitute 'how it works' with something that sounds a little more formal)

something like "taken the time to understand and appreciate some of the design principles employed on the vehicle"
