unlucky mate ^^^^ is it not a warning for a first time offence?

well first time i didnt know it was illegal, second time i didnt even realise they were on until i got pulled over and the officer didnt believe me, only doing his job i guess, you brake the law... you brake the law, simple as that
Edit: i asked about the warning, as i told him i didnt know his was illegal and that i see many people driving about and he just told me that it was against the law and a 30 pound fine should remind me that... well thanks mate...

I've been pulled twice for having fog lights on and both times I got away with it, but was told that after 3 times being caught it'd go to magistrates. If this is true its madness, its not exactly a master criminal offence really :D but, whatever keeps em occupied I guess!

..and you'll look a twat
why anyone would want their fog lights on when its not foggy is beyond me :?: .
It's quite a fiddlely job. get yourself a haynes manual (proper one) study the wiring diagram for the fog lights and replicate them (obviously with adjustments as you wont need the light in the dash that turns on when the fogs are turned on)
You may be better to source a desire model (and similar) that have the foglight holes already ;)
Good luck :)

I had my fogs on accidentally when I was on my way back from work... got an on the spot fine of £30. They haven't been on since. Even when it's foggy, I don't use them. Sometimes if a boy racer tries to race me, I do flick them on quickly to see if I get that 'increased' power because every barryboy car has them on but no luck :N:
Foglights on Saxo's are controlled via the light stalk. I can see that being a big job if you were to have them connected up like that. They only come on when the main lights are on as well which is better than when some people think it's cool to drive around with foglights on but not their main headlights :homme:
The best thing would be do wire them up one of the blank buttons next to your hazard lights.
I do think cars look better with foglights (for show purposes) but not to be turned on.... if you get what I mean. Hehe! Why not just have them fitted but don't have them connected? I'm sure on the base model Saxo's, there's already a plate where the foglights would have gone.

Got to agree with Damo. Think it would be a big job to connect them to the stalk. I would settle for one of the blank switch options as it will be a lot easier. Or as Damo said just dont connect them. Personally i dont think they do much anyway.
And as for fog lights being on. I found out the hard way to. I had them on as one of the headlights was out and thought it would be better than having just the one headlight on. This didn't wash, so £30 on the spot fine it was for me!!!!!

Fog lights in summer....rock on.
I doubt you want them to have sat in the bumper turned off because they look cool?
