Hi,

I'm insured on the c2 with admiral in my name.

I've decided to keep the proton but struggleing to get quotes below 3.5k.

So rang my insurance to add it on and they couldn't because its a single car polisy, but can add it on temp cover for £100 a month!

This is a decent amount so I've done it for one month I then asked how many time can it be added on and they said as many as I like.

So I'm thinking will I get in trouble for ringing up once a month to add it onto my insurance as temp ?

Also any help with quote I'm 20 years old driving for 3 0ncd (on other car) no convictions of points living in a f area.

Last company to ring is brentacre

Update I can only temp cover for 3 months.

And brentacre quoted me £2500

Yeah I would have guessed that there would be restrictions on temp cover otherwise people would just ring up once a month like you said above

Do you really need 2 cars?

Yes mate the missus will be driving soon, I'm using my car for business and don't want to put any more miles onto the c2.

Also the proton is gunna be getting used on track hopefully.

Thinking of just using it for a week each trackday till next year when I can get insured (taking ncd off the c2)
