Key transponder removal?

Hi all,

Just looking for some advice. Bought a new all all in one key fob with uncut key from eBay recently but I am just wondering how to (if possible) remove the chip from my old key to put in the new one.

Is it just a case of prizing it out carefully or is there a method to it!

im halfway through doing the same, and havent found a technique yet to get it out. i might have to dremel the key to pieces to get it out
