i've been thinking for a while of buying a car transporter, and breaking cars and doing recoveries etc, is there a decent amount of money to be made?

Yes there is alot of money, always good to have one and pick up cars without MOT & Tax, repair them and sell on or scrap them.

depends.. you can be as good at something as physically possible but crap at business and money management.

If you no what you're doing when it comes to managing money - overheads, bills etc.. then you can make a business work.

You need to work out the cost of an average car you're going to break and the potential profit that can be made from it etc..

Yep or just do local recovery for local garages. Need a license obviously, but once you have then go round all your local garages and offer the service :y: Make a nice earner, or even offer a recovery service to the public within a certain radius.

Would also be good for people who buy a car but can't get it back for whatever reason so you just collect and drop it off.

try and think of something the area you live in hasn't got... Or lacks in, and if theres a demand for it.

Doing Skips and letting out skips to people is always a good earner, if theres a demand for it in your area and there isnt any other companies doing the same.
