i have a 2001 vtr and have the cat on down pipe i have just replaced this with the down pipe without cat on but my car is really slow only in 1st gear but i have also put wat to much oil in it do u rekon it could be the down pipe or too much oil

not 100% sure although if it where to be one i think too much oil would be more to blame.

the decat pipe shouldent be a problem ?

well first u need to drain oil out to right level

sorry for changing subject....but under right thread! How easy is it to put and take off a de-cap pipe? You know for when it comes MOT time??
And also how easy is it to do? Cheers

cat under the car, 4 bolts. cat in the manifold, you change the manifold.

yeh mk 1 onto mk 2 and its a peace of piss to swap
