Best products for cleaning

I've always used the cheap stuff to wash/polish my car and t-cut when needed, always got a good shine up on my lude.

What are the best products to use for everything?.
There are some age related scuffs and scratches on bodywork so I would really like to get these out or reduced as much as possible.
