engine temp 3/4

i did the headgasket on my mrs vtr about 6 months ago and ever since the temp sits around the 3/4 mark and she said thats where it use to sit so i left it but just reading a thread on here and it shouldn't be doing it apparently.

systems all been bled fine no air in system and the heaters work fine, even got a 106 gti rad on it now, its never overheated or anything but im just wondering what could be the prob? engine runs spot on has been tested and compression is all ok.

im outta ideas really so any help is appreciated

mine sits at 3/4 in traffic if not higher, but sits and halfway or just below half way when driving, does yours sit at 3/4 while driving? or just in traffic?

driving and sometimes it goes a tiny bit up then the fan brings it back down to 3/4, fan isn't on all the time either

mine did this thermostat bout 8 quid water temp sensor did nothing for me
