Ever since I have bought new wheels, I have noticed that the steering continuously pulls a little bit to the left. I thought maybe it's tracking, but I didn't have any problems with the previous wheels (steelies). I then thought maybe the brakes are binding on the left side. After a good drive, I took a water bottle and splashed some water on the right side first, and nothing happened, but when I splashed some on the left side, it looked like it didn't even touch the brake disc and evaporated instantly! I jacked up the car and tried to move the wheels with my hand... both left and right wheels could be moved equally easily.
Could it be that the brakes are only binding when they heat up? Could it be that the wheel shop overtightened the wheel bolts and maybe warped the disc or something (I heard one guy tell the guy who was tightening the wheels "Stop tightening, he needs to remove them by hand later on")? The offset of the wheels are 25mm but have no scrubbing and have enough clearance, could this be the cause?
Sorry for the essay!! :drink:
