crunching sound while slow or lighty breaking?

My vtr has suddenly gained a quite crunching noise coming from front passenger side does it when lightly breaking or turning or on straight going slow after breaking ( i think ) its proper doing my head in possibly stone stuck in pad... any other ideas?

mite be a bearing mate, jack it up and give it a wiggle see if there's any play in the wheel.

When braking its now making s light hollow ping noise not when breaking softly though
