Cant say i've seen a purposefully made product for removing just bugs, they all seem to be a combined product.

Anyway, with the weather the way it is, and the 1000's of motorway miles I do a month, my windscreen gets covered in flies.

Is it safe to put this stuff in my washer bottle so I can squirt it on my windscreen?

would you not be better to just treat the windscreen to some good protection like G3/G4 so once wet all the bugs wipe off? personally i have never heard/thought about putting tar and bug remover in my washer and tbh i dont think i would,

It would badly streak the windows and not work well.....

I'm not into washing cars at all, so I have no idea what you're talking about. Could you link me up please?

Ahh, okie dokie. I'll try putting some into a spray bottle and spraying it on the car, see how it turns out before I drive anywhere.

When doing a detail (before any polishing) you should soak in an apc (can be applied with foam lance) to remove tar and shit.

Obviously ensure lance is cleaned thoroughly before washing the car again though else it will strip the wax.

But I hardly wash my car, I just want a quick fix to get all the dead flies off whilst I'm driving. Any ideas?

if you put a tar remover in your washer bottle, there might be a risk of perishing the lines etc?

u shudnt leave tar remover on the car for long either should be used and washed off and your going to clean ur screen which will then go over your car and not get cleaned off for ages which isnt going to do the paint a world of good

Also bearing in mind, when you mix bug and tar remover with water, it goes all milky :p so you won't be able to see any how

No problem Josh.

Think you're just going to have to stick with a good glass polish and a bit of effort when you get home to wipe it all off.

Either that or you could try and get some tear-off visors like they use in F1 etc ;)

Also it will eat into the seals in the washer motor/pump and cause leaks leading to failure. All the spray bottles i have had tar and adhesive remover in for a period of time end up breaking due to the seals going!
