hi
i have a westy with 195/45/15
this is a question to anyone who runs on yoko a539's.
i run 32 psi on the front but have noticed that the outer tread is wearing faster than the rest, i've had em couple of months and its down to 3mm while the centre treat is a bout 5mm
theres no vibration through the wheel so i think the tracking is fine.
is it just soft rubber or is something else wrong?

thanks.

If you have had it lowered that that alters the camber and caster angles. That is the angle that the strut is inclined and the angle that the wheel hits the road. This is easy to cure you just need adjustable bottom arms and a camber check. Hope this helps. P.s. I have the same tyres and I can get them for £39 fitted for your size if you need some.

i run 34 in my fronts mate and i'm down 60mm, had 195/45's on for about 5 months now and the tread has hardly gone down. all depends on your driving style and the type of roads you drive, but your tracking may well have been wrong in the first place. if it hasn't been adjusted since the car was lowered (if it is lowered) then you need it done. :)
