how many minors you get for your driving test?
and what for?

i got 3 and for steering,position when pulling up to do my reverse round corner and braking

was a while ago i got 8 minors - nearly took out a cyclist (i have a thing about taking out people on bikes clearly)
My girlfriend got 3 majors on her first go!

I got 7 I think. Can't remember what they were for it was that long ago.

i got 7 minors in my test.

My main mistakes were that I forgot to indicate when coming off a roundabout and I went up the curb on a parellel park.

and no faults

Don't you have to present your theory pass certificate at the start of your driving test? or is that a recent thing? :shock:

i was in the navy ... theroys had just come into play and the armed forces were excempt for 3 more months yay

did it on a naval base (hms davenport)

my instructor was the biggest royal marine ive ever seen ... god knows how he got in a corsa

Failed meh first for speeding, was just too keen :)

Then got 3 for Changing Gear while cornering, Hesitation when crossing traffic, and not slowing down fast enough when changing speed zones :)

Failed first time :( wasnt my fault though. 2nd time 5 minors all for not checking mirror now and then.

Ads i wonder what would have happened if u'd ran over those policemen on your test lol

seriously??? that harsh! my instructor said if you dont kno the speed limit, always assume its a 30!!

first test i failed for "observation while doing a 3 point turn"
second test i missed cause someone stole my licence
third test (Thursday) passed with 3 minors which were doing 33 in a 30, going slightly too fast around a corner and finally wrongly identifying where the power steering pump was (on a 1.3 Festa)

had 16 lessons
3 Minors (observation, speed and gear change)

Past my 2 year "6 point" period now which is a huge relief (not that i plan on ever getting points but im sure u agree its a relief)

failed my first test because i pulled out infront of somebody who was going about 50 in a 30 zone. so they came right up my boot, not dangerously close just they were a tosser. cost me £60 odd quid the bar-steward.

i got 4 minors in my second.
2 for not getting up to speed in a national speed limit, because i didnt want to put my foot down and get a point for harsh accelerating!
cant remember what other 2 were for though.
