View Full Version : Kyle's White Saxo Progress Thread .. Ideas anyone?

Hi, just purchased a White Saxo 1.1i 64k miles for 800 ... Came with all the sound system etc but I'm thinking about the vtr look for it.

If any one can give me any ideas ... tips on how to go about making a saxo look nice! then let me know.

Future Mod's

VTR Kit
Colour code
4 Stud Conversion
White Wheels (Not sure what to get yet .. any ideas are welcome!)
40mm lowered
Not sure what exhaust to get yet either, so ideas on that would be helpful

If any ones got any parts for sale then let me know ...

Needs a VTR/VTS kit...front bumper, back bumper, skirts and arches

Then a VTS spoiler

Some morette headlights

And change the wheels, and do them in black.. VTS wheels would look fine

Have the sidestrips, and the bumpstrips on the bumpers painted black, with the rest of the car white.. The wheels black, and the morette headlights black

Then lowered atleast 40mm, up to 60mm

Would look sweet as fuck with all that done

So to sum it up...VTR/VTS kit painted white with bumpstrips black

VTR/VTS side bumpstrips painted black

VTS wheels painted black

Morette headlights painted black

VTS spoiler painted white

Then look in the Detailing section on here for tips on cleaning the car, to make it shine

Ye man, I'm going to go for the vtr kit, lowered and some new lights but not so sure about the spoiler ... I just don't like the look of them!

go for the mark 2 spolier its smaller than the mark 1 it looks better than the one my car has imo

i agree with this apart from the morrettes really dont like em colour code you lights id say looks top nice car :)

Looks sweet but i'm not too sure about the wheels, i'd want white .... any ideas on how much to lower by????

Keep it flat arch imo you aint foolin no one :) don't lower the back to much as they don't sit right on a flat arch!! Nice clean base to start with though mate!!

Deffo going to stick the vtr kit on it but il get it lowered until i can get a kit for the car, just hunting around for some vtr parts etc ... and cheers man, car hasnt done much miles etc so looking forward to making it look a beauty!

Hi mate. I'm taking some spax adjustable dampers and apex 50mm lowering springs off my old car if your interested. I'm not sure if they will fit a 1.1 though tbh. They have been removed from a vtr. Just a thought mate!!

I'm not sure also if they will fit, but i think i've got some now any ways ... cheers for the offer tho ... you getting rid of any other parts or just that?

like the ideas posted by Peter_D but you wont be able to have vts wheels as your on a 3 stud so would need to have a 3 to 4 stud conversion if you were to have them:y:

I'd lower it 70mm at the front, 120mm at the back and put some 13" weller wheels or minilites on.

Bloody show off's ;) haha, sweet ... You got any pictures of this vt your hopeing to get, and when are you going to get it? Ye see what parts we can exchange and things when you get it mate x
