need help on what ive found ?

hi all,:panic:all help is great !!!

right i was in my work van and parked behind my v reg vts saxo,

and under the car i could see a hose just hanging down, i jumped out and had a lil look under the car and found there was two hoses coming from the off side of the car by the rear beam and they go to a small white pot type thing and one of the nipples that the hose goes to has been snapped off so the hose just hangs now what is this hose and pot ?? how much are they are they a part i can get from dealer ............ need help asap please :panic:

I'm not 100% sure what it does, but if i'm thinking of the same thing you've described, it's for the fuel system, it's on the drivers side correct?

yeah its on the drivers side, the little pot goes and clicks in to the plastic cover thing under the car its not the abs wires it hose !!

its like 1/4 of a coke can size with two tubes coming out where the hoses go on

Some kind of fuel recirculation breather, mine broke so i just cut it out and joined the 2 pipes, its got a ball in it? it works like some kind of vacuum.
