got to love sunflower seeds!!

Nuts are good, but get ruined when the are salty, which also makes them less good for you. Not a problem in moderation tho.

Low levels of saturated fats, High levels of mono-unsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, No cholesterol!!! fibre.
Plant protein, which makes them an alternative to boring meat all the time!! nuts are also high in the amino acid arginine, Vit E, B6, niacin & folic acid.
Minerals too magnesium, zinc, iron, calcium, copper, selenium and potassium

thats me with my txt book out! LOL :A:

you only need a palm full of protein a day! if training hard & pushing weights that exceed approx 75% of you max then a lil more will help. These "shakes" you talk of arnt all that, alot of the nuitrients can be found in natural foods... if you think back to caveman times where were these "shakes".. nope they didnt exist (if you didnt know already) there is no real need for them TBH is all marketing & brain washing... but if your happy taking them thats ok as they contain a good amount of nutrients.

from the top of my head at 6.52am i think its only 30% of your tablets/suppliments that your body absorbs the rest is digested & discarded... the same will happen with excess protein it will put your body under added strain as it needs to be digested & discarded....

did you know that muscle is made of amino acids!! so is complex carbohydrates!! you do the maths... all this protein talk is fine but its not the protein that builds muscle its the amino acids that it is and other things are made of made up of....

some of the best body builders are vegens!! how do they build muscle if you need meats for protein all the time...!????
