well the 1.1 has gone and I have got myself a lovely 52plate silver vts. Some mods have already been done but I have plenty plans for it. Heres the first pic after a good clean on a bank holiday :drink:

Current mods:
lowered around 40mm
bilstein sprintline rear dampers
spax front dampers PI springs
Magnex exhaust

I got the car a week ago and am waiting for the log book so I can tax it. I have got a smart leather gator, de wipered the rear and just put some french pressed plates on.

Next up is to have the rims re sprayed as its a bit of a home made job. Then new tyres all around. Any advice on tyres. I want some maxxis ones and have been looking at the MA-Z1 Drift. altough I have seen some new toyo proxes for just under £200 what do you guys recomend. there going on the standard vts alloys. Comments welcome. Let the moding comence.

Hey Guys, not been on the old progress report for a while and well that would because there has been no progeress on the sax.

I had plenty of plans for it after i sold the 1.1 ond got the vts and the truth is i really have not had time. With all the racing I have been doing the last 6months have been manic.

Bmx race season starts in January so I have had a bit of time to do a few things and have a real sit down to decide what i want the car for Track/ fast road/day job. I have decided that i want to carry on using it for work as it costs an arm and a leg to insure so i want my moneys worth but i would like it to be a track car-anyway...

I have stripped most of the inside and put some FK buckets in from saxo_vts which i got at the weekend. She past the mot yesterday after me changing the de-cat for a second hand cat and middle section. I plan on selling the Magnex backbox and decat and getting the kam racing setup.

I then gave it a good wash with mine and my dads new toy and took it for a spin.

Next up is to re-trim the door cars with some black alcantara type fabric, which i will try and get done tomorrow as i am off. Then i want some 3-point harneses and the 106 and carbon door card set up. Re spray the wheels and some new footware in the form of toyo proxes TR1 (after xmas and the snow).

Small update from yesterday and Thursday. I have decided to spray the inside of the headlights and the mirror caps to keep in with the black and silver theme.

The Holts white primer was rubbish so I dug out some grey plastic primer which was sound.

After 2 coats of primer I used 3 light coats of satin black.

I also fitted a bmc breather, battery clamp and a pair of sparco aero's

Finally i striped all the interior apart from the carpet, centre console and front pillars. I think the sunroof will be coming out or just sealing up at some point and the black tar stuff from the rear arches needs to come out also.
