Anyone tried doing this themselves? How difficult is it to do? Any tips?

Finally come to the realisation I'm probably never gonna get around to getting my lip wrapped, so may as well give it a go myself.

They look quality! What's the heat gun / hairdryer needed for?

to heat the vinyl up, and "Stretch" it slightly which helps get rid of wrinkles and wrap around corners and stuff
dont pull to hard or it can distort the CF pattern

if your looking at wrapping stuff on/in your car, it will be under attack from sunlight/heat which will cause the vinyl to shrink.. which will leave wrinkles and roughed edges

using a heat gun to stretch it smoothly will slow down the shrinking effects from the heat/sun

before you put the vinyl on, rub the surface down with warm soapy water, lay the vinyl on, the soapy water will allow you to move the vinyl around til you get the right spot

when you have it where you want, use the heat gun to evaperate the water under the vinyl and use a flat edge "tool" (credit card will work perfectly) to slide out any bubbles / wrinkles

like i say, watch some guides on youtube for vinyl wrapping, pm me if you need further help (im not a pro, but ive wrapped a fair few things now) lol

ill be honest bud, they arent perfect, the other side of the visor didnt really work, needs the holes and stuff smoothed out, wrapping them again with a 2nd layer might cure it tho..

Ebay :y:

before you buy, email the seller and ask for a test piece, they will ask you to send them a stamped envelope, but its best to check the quality before you end up with some ropey looking crap lol

Is the only feasible option with the lip I've got, unless I get it colour coded. Nowhere in the UK makes carbon BYS rep's yet, and I'd be looking at a good £350 to get one shipped over.
