Ive been putting my details into comparison websites with my details as they will be at renewal (touch wood) Ive been doing this to get quotes on a clio sport.

The problem is they were all coming back with quotes of 4kplus which i could stretch to if i really tried but i couldnt justify giving them that much money. When i tried go compare it brought back loads of 4k plus quotes but flux direct quoted 2200. The only thing is im at uni so i put my employment status as full time education, uni living at home. It then asks if you have a part time job which i do at tesco. It classes part time as 16 hours or less so chose no becuase i work 22 hours. However i thought that maybe i should let them know i work aswell regardless of the hours but when i do this it shoots up to 6 grand for flux. So if i keep at as uni and no part time work (16 hours less) im not lying im just playing on their wording arent i ?

If they classify part time as less than 16 hours and you work 22 hours then you work full time according to thier wording.
Your primary occupation would be whatever your 22 hour job is, not student
I don't see how you can be in full time education when you work 22 hours a week!

You need to be honest with them because they will look at ways to try and not pay out in the event of a claim and finding out you have another job which you didnt tell them about could end up voiding your policy.

My course is a full time course even though i don't have to be there a lot. I work evenings and do a long shift on a saturday and Tesco count my hours as part time. Anyway when i tried confused before i put in that i work part time as well and they came up with the same cheap quote from flux. Cheers anyway mate
