Right so my sax sits @ about 3/4 tempreature along the motorways whats the deal here? around town its only slightly lower.

~ Headgasket was recently changed by myself
~ Full flush through
~ Cleaned all sensors
~ Good clean of every part
~ Waterpump changed recently
~ Thermostat changed when HG was changed
~ All pipes cleaned etc
~ Heaters work
~ Bled properly with the correct mixture
~ Fan works
~ Temp gauge works properly

Whats the problem here?

Couple of mates say its normal but i can't think it cant be its a worrying issue when it shoots up a little thinking that another HG could be changed soon if it carry s on the way it does..

Its a 1 plug i heard they do sit a little higher than their 3 plug counter part.

Any ideas? Would a bigger new rad like a nissens sort this, but surely @ idle and motorway speed its going to be the same, really annoying thinking about fitting a switch for the fan, anyways shoot me some answers..

Mine did this until I changed the temperature gauge sensor(blue)on mine it sits next to the green 1 on the thermostat housing. Also try re-bleeding the cooling system too.

Thanks for the reply steve

- Did you just change this sensor than see a difference or did you also bleed the system, did yours also sit too high?
