Ive read in a thread that there is a guide to smoking headlights, i have searched but i cant find :s if anyone could explain or link me to the sticky would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

cant find it? :s only one to do with headlights i see is how to colour code them?

Smoking the whole lense is illegal
you can only "smoke" the insert
Oh :s okay.. the lens darkened looks quality though, sorry for the noob error lol.

Who told you that, ive got my entire headlight covered in lamin-x Dark tint as in black and never had a problem :homme:

Alot of people drive round with out a front number plate (or a plate in the wrong place like on the dash), and completely black rear lights
just 'coz "You" get away with it, doesnt mean everyone will.. and its not worth the risk..
I saw what i mean on a project on here.. cant find it again :s its a flatarch 1.1 mango saxo.. thats what i want if you know which project im on about

Oh okay, i was wrong.. the pic looked as if the lens was darkened but after looking more carefully you guys are right, its the backing bit which is darkened - cheers though

Follow that guide but use black and youll get the look you want :y:

i did the inserts for my original headlights, easy as fook - and im a goat when it comes to diy modifications.. if i can do it, anyone can :homme: also slightly off topic, where abouts in portsmouth you from Davyy? :y:
Titchfield Park.. Fareham way? I see your from southampton, i go to itchen college though

lol +1 mate im shit at things like this and i managed to do my headlights pretty easily :homme:

i say i managed it with no problems........ until i had to seal it, it rained 2 days later... my light cluster was like a cloud of fog.. :wall: just make sure you re-seal it correctly!!!!!!:y:

Ahh i didnt have that problem lol, although when i resealed them i noticed the little lense that goes over the inidicator had a clip broken and now it hangs slightly out like this

LOL i didnt even notice this in your other pics, hardly noticeable mate! also w/e to the leather boots :homme:
see them lights look so much better over standard!
