Right so ive got some soil mechanics homework in for thursday.. And im completely boggled!

Anyone any good with this stuff? Any A-level math students/civil engineers on here to help?

Thers a free vajazzle in it for anyone who helps lol!

Update:

Ok so heres one of the first questions...

1. A soil sample in its natural condition has a mass of 2310g and a volume of
1.2 x 10-3m3.

After being completely dried the mass sample is 2010g. The specific gravity of the solid for the soil is 2.7. Determine

1.1 the moisture content
1.2 the bulk density
1.3 the void ratio
1.4 the porosity
1.5 the saturated density
1.6 the dry density

Ive got a few formulas to work with but tbh ive looked at it for so long ive got myself completely lost!
