You will not belive how quick your car will stop with these on. Next mod if you can afford it is ceramic discs but these eat brake pads.

Yes but think of it this way.
calipers from a brakers £50 including bracket and bolts
Discs cross drilled and groved £40
Pads £45

If the cost of the parts are cheaper then you know the answer.

These are a smaller set up. The ones you want are the 285mm discs which you will have to run 15in wheels.

If you tune you car for more power then you will need the best brake set up to stop. So many people do there engine first and dont do the brakes and get into trouble when trying to stop.

405 brembos should do the job nicley!

westy- you have the 206 gti set up, not the 306 set up. as said the 306 brakes do not fit under anything less than 15 inch wheels. :)
even so, you still notice a difference with the 206 set up, as standard saxo brakes are piss poor.

 206 266mm is wot im getting i thought the 306 set up was the same size!? am i wrong!!

Scott

yes, 306 gti6 is 285mm with larger caliper pistons in the calipers

WestyVTR
22nd June 2006, 12:58
dam it!! i though they were the same!! so i need the 206gti set up only then!! that is the biggest i can get under my VTR 14s yes!????

Scott

pretty much yes unless you got some 4 pot dynalites with 285mm discs they might just just squeeze under there. 266 safe bet though

SteVTR
