looking to get a vtr as a first car and thought id join the forum, dont really know alot about the cars but i would look into some banded steels, lowered, going toward the euro look if i got one.

ive been doing some research and to insure a 1.6vtr its cheaper than a 1.2 corsa b, weird:/ but good in a way :)

Depending on how much you have, VTR is gona be a fair bit for a first car.
I paid £2,800 the first year on my 1.1.
I'm 20 now and paying £960 on my VTR.

ive got quotes for £3100 i know its high but the cheapest i can find 2400 and thats for a 900cc metro

Are you putting your date of birth a few years earlier to make up for the fact you're only 16? If you're putting your proper date of birth you'll get duff quotes
Change it so you appear as 17/18 and see what quotes you get

i bet he already has put them at 17/18 lol, vtr's aint that cheap as a 1st car, cant see it been less than £2300

how do u find out what cat ur area is? always thought this varied with different companies?
