Our local Citroen garage had a promotion on last year, buy any new car & get free insurance, this deal has now ended. Does anyone know of any similar companies currently offering this deal? My son's renewal on his 97 Saxo is criminal..:n:

Most of those deals only apply to 21/25 and over anyway.

My sister got a New Polo a few months ago..That had free insurance.
Had to be 19+ though..
try looking at Toyota Aygo's, C1's etc.. They're the type of car's that normally come with deals like that.. I nearly ended up with one myself :homme:

Thought as much, my son is 18 in June, I'll guess I'll have to bite the bullet. Did manage to get a chunk knocked off his insurance through Admiral multicar yesterday, £1384 for a 97 Saxo.

Obviously postcode does make a difference but theres afew things you can try, put martial status as cohabiting instead of single knocked about 300 off for me. and even if you have a garage and a driveway say you park it in the street also limit your mileage to about 5k cant prove mileage anyway unless you have two accidents close together.
At 18 i was paying £960 on my saxo vtr 1.6 2003 with 0 ncb which i thought was quite good my renewal at 19 is £600 and im looking into a 2l clio sport or civic type r and theyre both about the same as you're paying for the 97 saxo. im sure you can get it down.
I think vauxhall do an insurance free one on the new corsa but i think all you have to do is the pass plus and not have any claims under your belt

Surely the money you'd spend buying a new car would far outweigh the cost of insuring the saxo

Hopefully they'll be doing a similar deal this time next year... I'm hoping for an RCZ hdi.
