How does coding and dyslexia work then? Surely you'd end up putting letters in the wrong place... And you may earn more than me at the moment... but considering you've had a smart idea to recruit someone off saxp, I don't think you'll be progressing much...
how much are we talking ash? ;)

I love how they use a complex word like "dyslexia", as a name for something that makes it hard for people to spell...rubbing it in a bit
Same as putting an "s" in lisp for people who can't pronounce the letter S right, why do this? my nameth peter and i have a thpeech impediment
thnortle.

Earns peanuts at the moment though! He probably does earn more money than me, but not to be a prick, I can always get a better job that pays more and I'll earn more as I progress...

How can you code and be dyslexic, surely that's like being blind but good at reading?

to the people taking the piss about dyslexia, one of my best mates has dyslexia, and is shit hot at programming...
and another mate has to literally write out a page of shit every few days or he forgets to how to write. his little bro is the same and had uni offers when he was 14 to program. his dad cant write, but was re-located over to the us about 15 years ago working for apple coding and setting up servers.:geek:

I call bullshit lol.
I know people at my uni who are dyslexic and can program good so i don't dispute that.
But 14?? lol

your all getting touchy over someone who is dyslexic but is an awesome programmer whats wrong with that? just because he/she is dyslexic doesn't mean they can't be a programmer

For all you fags who can't grasp context (Juggyluggs, Yellow_Saxo_Paul, Enthone, what?), I just asked how it worked, no touchiness at all and you'd see that if you read the posts afterwards. I'd have thought being dyslexic would make you put letters in the wrong places, and I would have thought letters in wrong places for programming would have been a bit of a pain in the arse... unless you don't need to be that accurate, or unless it really doesn't work like that. I always thought it involved typing out lines of code.

Yes putting letters in the wrong order would cause problems, how ever most IDE's (where software is usually coded), have spell checker like tools which check the syntax so it wouldnt be too hard to fix any spelling issues. :y:
