for the advice on here i have managed to get my amp to work
problem now is it is in protection mode

does anyone know how to get protection mode off

I believe protection mode is when it doesn't have a clean enough earth?

yeah, earth.
just stopping it self from blowing up.

just make sure you scrape enough paint off to get a metal to metal connection mate

I used the earth under the back seat, where the seat clicks itself into? Unbolt that, sand it down to bare metal and earth it to that... then bolt it back together.

The ring on my earth does not fit round the screw part and my earth wire is too short to fit from my boot to the back seat


how do i connect it down fully i was thinking od a self tapping into the side of the boot

Actually, how long is your earth? Miine is about 30cm and reaches the back seats from the boot?

All i needed was a drill and steel wall plug

my saxo came with a earth and sanded down patch in the boot
