hi all about 6 months ago i had a crash in the work van witch involved it getting wrote off( it was old) how will this effect my renewal quote on my own insurance! I did not get any points nor did i have to go to court but i did have to go on one on those driver improvement courses!!

il pay wotever it is as i dont wana give up my vts, its just so as i can brace myself.....

P.s am with quinn direct and am from n.ireland

It will vary depending on your insurer, so it is difficult to suggest a price. You are best off ringing up Quinn to find out.

probably best to ring and did anyone claim off your insurance if they didn't then i can't see it affecting your insurance that much dude

Depends on what you pay now and who you are insured with, they are all different

Will likely be a percentage rather than a fixed amount

Say 10% for arguements sake

On a £500 policy that will only be £50
On a £3000 policy it will be £300

Yeah that sounds about right because my cousin had a crash and they gave him an amount that it would increase and when he asked why they said it was a percentage but cant remember what it was and it will probebly vary with insurances anyway, your best bet is to just bite the bullet and ring them up mate to be honest, best of luck pal :y:

thanks for the replys people, hopefully it aint to much of a hike, i pay around 560 or so per year and thats with all my mods declared!! (quinns)

oh and it wasnt my insurance it went through it was the companys!
