PostCode Risks
A = Low Risk
F = High Risk
* = Any motor cycles in areas D, E or F must be garaged in a locked and secured building whilst at the policy holders address. In some of these areas this also applies to cars.

Im in wf17 (e*) and the girlfriends insurance went up from £390 to £1440 because of this post code thingy, although managed to get it to £700.
This thread sounds like it's already sorted when the search was used :p Insurance is a b**ch sometimes. I have been through queries when managing cases, where people have moved across the road and literally either been unable to obtain quotes due to ratings or their premium has doubled !
Saxorino ~ That's pretty lucky! How did you manage to get it down to that?

She was with nfu and they said they could not go much lower than that, then she went with tesco(got quote on confused.com), plus she has a clubcard which knocked quite a bit off aswell.

Bare in mind though that these area ratings are only there as a rough guide and will vary from insurer to insurer..

I live in Whitchurch in Cardiff, its actually a nice area but ive found out that it is still classed as Gebalfa which is a terrible area if anyone lives round by me lmao
I have always wondered why my insurance was higher than most my age! its all clear to me now!
