HELPPP ! :) light lense swap

i have a set of angel eyes but as most there cracking has anyone ever taken lenses off there standered light and put them on angels ? makes sense to me as there glass wld be better and never crack :) they look like they wld line up ?

wouldnt there be a problem due to the fact that the angels use projector style light as opposed to just the blub with that cap thing on, dont quote me on it as ive no idea in theory they should line up perfectly if they're the same shape

i would like to know this as mine have cracked aswell

i know mk1 lenses would look crap over angels, cos they arent clear (lines across to filter light or whatever they do) but i dunno about mk2's - they look clear so i guess they'd look ok
i dont see why they wouldnt fit - if they're the same size, i woulda thought they'd fit
