have you passed your test yet? why are you so set on a GSXR600 K6?
(not that there is anything wrong with them, just interested)

I rode a K6 & K7 last season on track.
Have you done your test yet? As you're 21, I'm assuming you'll be doing DAS if you haven't done already. If it's your 1st bike, then be weary Imo. People only think " ahh it's only a 600" But they're alot faster and harder to keep under control than what people think..
You pull back on the throttle and the front lifts, you're gonna end up pulling the throttle back even more without wanting too. Lol. I know, I've done it.
Would you not be better off getting a smaller, less powerful bike 1st (assuming it's you're first bike) too get used to the road, and the power jump etc.. CB500's & similar bikes are normally decent starting bikes for the step to high end bikes.

Ignore the other people, get what you want....
People forget that YOU control the bike, not the other way round. You could do yourself just as much damage on a 125 as a thousand (well maybe not speed wise, but even on a thousand you dont HAVE to go fast).

yeah i ent going to ride in like a dick anyway and wont be doing nothing stupid like wheelies etc but yeah will get what i want just wanted to see views on it
A bike is only as fast as you turn the throttle. It's all down to the rider. You'll be fine on a GSXR600 so long as you use your head.
Get to know the bike with how it handles, the brakes and the engine. Once you're getting the hang you can push harder and harder. The main thing is to not go out of your comfort zone and just use your head.
