fuel gauge wont work!!

it is always on the red, but i put £50 in ( i know fuel prices are bad but.. )

anyone know whats up ? befor i start taking things apart.

Does it move at all when you move to ignition 2 on the key? Like, anything?

Could be the motor in the dial. Could also just be a dodgy sensor.

If it doesn't move at all, could switch out the dials and see if that helps?

Literally, take the whole dials out and try some other dials mate.

Motor could be unicorned, try new dials :S

i have no idea, i jacked the car up to do the oil and when i let it down they started working! i think the float was stuck ?
