Hi peeps, Only a minor issue but tends to bug me when changing gear it makes a squeaky noise just wondered if anyone else has had this problem and found a nice little cure.:)

Some grease on all the linkages... especially the large ball and the bulkhead mounts should sort it out if its just a minor thing, other than that it could be scraping on something, but you'd probably notice some other symptoms.... the problem is the gears run along the exhaust pipe which gets very hot!... this causes the grease to dry out and causes the metal to expand, so to re-cap, get some spray grease and spray it on any bit where there is a join or link from the gear stick all the way to the box.... hopefully that'll cure it mate

you sure it isnt your clutch that squeaks?

its not the clutch or the linkages. i have it too and it bugs me too! it comes from the plastic that the gear stick is fixed too. what is it!!!

all i no is my clutch squeaks when u press clutch lol i need to grease it up with hi temp grease

Yeah its not the linkages or clutch is like a plastic squeaky noise, will try and pull all the gaiter off and have a good look tomorrow.:wink:
