ok ,so im ramblin along and the battery light does a rather impressive little flashdance (flickers), now im thinking altenator but annyone got suggestions? :geek:

Mine did this!.... check the connection to the back of the starter motor first, then get a multimeter and check that the alt is charging at around 13-14amps, if it isn't you might have a faulty regulator.... easy enough to change. but it certainly sounds like the connections.... if these don't work then the next thing is a break in the wire that is affected by revs or bumps (mine was like this) you'll need to run a new wire from the alt to the starter (or just double up like I did) its easy enough to cut the wire out of a loom at the scrappies and will cost almost nothing
