new manifold screching

ive just fitted my new manifold today (4-1) that i got off my mate off his old vts.

i fitted it today and started the engine up and sounded sweet so took it for a drive and when i rev it makes kind of a scratching noise. i got it all jacked up again and had a look to see if it was rubbing on anything and it all looks fine not near anything. it dosnt have a bracket on the manifold for the gearbox bolt but it didnt make this noise on my mates.

any suggestions?

Got the same problem with the standard manifold, i hit the down pipe on a bump and since then its been scratching/screaming.

It only happens when the car is in the low revs.

Nah mate I think it's my downpipe.

It's pissed me off lol
