I'm on a sim-only pay monthly, just like PAYG but with one monthly payment.

tesco's PAYG gives you double of what you put on.. eg top up £20 get £40 free credit so you have £60 total credit.

Only know that because my grandad uses it.. i'm on contract.

theres a new network i have a link to get yourself a free sim. Its very similar to a contract but you top up! sounds stupid but ive just switched to it, from a monthly rolling contract.

You get per top up:

£10 - 250 mins, unlimited txts, unlimited internet (100mb per day fair use)
£15 - 400 mins, unlimited txts, unlimited internet (100mb per day fair use)
£20 - 800 mins, unlimited txts, unlimited internet (100mb per day fair use)
£25 - 1200mins, unlimited txts, unlimited internet (100mb per day fair use)

If anyone wants the link let me know. The sim goes straight into 02 mobiles (as they use all of 02s coverage). Or any unlocked phone.

Yea, try and use all the mins in a month, its defo the best deal around atm, especially for the internet.

You all so have the option to just top up 5-10-15-20 quid and just use it normally. at a rate of 8p a min and 4p txts.

With every top up, you get free calls to the same network.

Also you can change your deal to suit.

I use T-Mobile PAYG, Top up a tenner a month, get Unlimited Texts. And Still got 6 Months Free BlackBerry Internet from when I bought the phone.

Tempted to go out and buy a shitty little phone, as paying for the Net on two devices seems a bit pointless (Got a 3G iPad)

Still on Vodafone payg but i tend to wallop one of their freedom packs on every month. A tenner gets u 100 minutes any network and a couple of hundred texts or you can use the freebie offer which leaves your original credit on but gives you some stuff err free :).If anyone is still using voda payg it's worth activating the bonus bank which gives you 10 percent of your credit back which you can redeem at a later date. My nippers on Giff gaff and he swears by it so i might take the plunge. Think he puts a tenner on and gets unlimited internet etc as above plus once you're on it you get bonus' for recommending friends and it piggy backs onto the 02 network so coverage isn't a problem
