URGENT lost 5th and reverse.

Just came back from gf's had all gears until just round the corner from my house and it wouldnt go into 5th or reverse. 1234 are fine but the gear stick wont go across to the 5th and reverse side.

had no noises or anything the stick just wont move across.

gear link related? which one is it most likely to be?

need reverse to get car off drive in the morning so im gonna get up early and try fix it does anyone have any idea which bits on the box should move to get to 5th and reverse?

sorry for the essay but im pretty pissed off with it need help :(

If it is one of the linkages u'll notice which one has come away right away, if it's not broken just a matter of sticking your hand down there and popping it back on .

i checked the links and they all seem fine from above which is whats worrying me.

gonna have to get it in the air when the sun comes up for a closer look hopefully its pretty obvious

5th and Rev is the same gear linkage so most probably will be that. good luck :y:
