Ipod/iphone as radio

Hi guys i was wondering if anyone had replaced their radio with a ipod and kind of smoothed the rest out?

Was just thinking of ideas as ive got my iphone and could put it in sideways where my radio would normally go?

What do people think?

i cant see that not working but it will be a chalenge, something different to not seen anyone do it, you would probley have to rewire all the speakers to an amp or something which has an aux input other wise none of the speakers will work, but make sure you know what your doing before you start anything u dun wanna damage anything to fit the ipod in and find out you dont want it or it wont work, but good luck with it mate.

surely ud need a head unit in order to power th espeakers amp etc from the ipod
